Leandra - Metamorphine (2008)
Welcome to the strange world of Ophelia Dax here known as Leandra from German lands. Leandra style lead us to a complex definition as the sound is covered with multiple influences. I experience “Metamorphine” as a minimalist, but enchanting ethereal souvenir reminding me to a softer level of last year's revelation Elsiane, flying through trip-hop, classic and also with a very good level of gothic powder. With an excellent capability beyond the piano, Leandra makes us close our eyes and imagine a different world, as a Tim Burton audio movie. The dark never felt so good...
