Neon Neon - Stainless Style (2008)

"Neon Neon" are Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals and Bryan Hollon known as Boom Bip , together bringing life to "Stainless Style", an album inspired in the '80s electropop, based on the rise and fall of automobile tycoon John DeLorean. Appealing to electropop, indie & hip-hop, Stainless Style slips effortlessly between a vast array of musical camps, with the honor of the intuitive capabilities of Rhys and Hollon, a team that constantly gives evidence of two minds working on very different ways but achieving yhe same goal. The strength of this album lies in the same playful interpretation of different genres. A post-modern wonder, as sleek as its subject matter.

Cloud Cult - Feel Good Ghosts (2008)

Minneapolis based Cloud Cult returns for their sixth album, self-titled "Feel Good Ghosts" (Tea-partying Through Tornadoes). Despite the fact i'm a huge fan of them, it's not surprisingly that the new album is awesome, it promises to be as progressive as it is diverse, instrumentaly, originality, creativity...there's no one better to mix acoustic and electric guitar with soft and hard voices between sampling, drums, bass, violins and many other. Meet the great Cloud Cult band...Craig Minowa, Connie Minowa, Scott West, Sarah Young, Shawn Neary and Shannon Frid from Minneapolis.
